Our God can fix anything!

Don’t ever give up – because nothing is impossible with our God!

nothing is impossibleDon’t allow the devil to convince you that your situation is hopeless.  No matter how deeply wounded you are, or no matter how hurt you feel, remember the words of Jesus: “The things which are impossible with men are possible with God” Luke 18:27

Maybe you are so disgusted and ashamed of your spouse.  Your children have lost all trust because they have grown up surrounded by lies and secrets. You are thinking it’s time to leave your marriage and move on.

I am so sorry you heart has been broken.  That you’ve been cheated on, betrayed and let down time and time again.  But before you make any huge decision, remember that we serve a God who is able to fix any problem.  He can resurrect a dead marriage and make it more alive than ever before.  Unless your spouse has committed adultery or abused you physically, God says to hold on, because He can, and He wants to, fix it.  He will give you a supernatural love for your spouse once more and He will restore your marriage and your family – nothing is impossible for God.

Your Shepherd Really Loves You!

The deep love of Jesus,your Shepherd never fails.  He is your daily companion and comfort.  He holds you close to His heart as a Shepherd does to a little lamb. Snuggle tightly into His breast in the midst of your suffering and He will never let you go.

“You are my hiding place; You preserve me from trouble; You surround me with songs of deliverance. Selah” (Psalm 32:7)

Staying God-focused

stressedDo you feel overloaded with the troubles, burdens and stresses of life?  Does it all just seem too overwhelming? Maybe it’s a demanding husband, persistent children, needy parents, trying to serve others, church commitments and so much more …… Sometimes it’s really hard to escape the business of life!

I was reading Matthew 14 this morning, which tells us how Jesus experienced all sorts of burdens and stresses.  After hearing news of John the Baptist’s beheading, He tried to withdraw to a quiet place, but the crowds followed and instead of resenting being interrupted, He had compassion on them and healed their sick.  He even went on to miraculously feed over 5,000 of them,  About 3 o’clock that morning, after praying in the hills, He walks through a storm, on the water, to join His disciples. After a sleepless night, He crosses the lake, but very soon, the people once again bring their sick to be healed, even just through touching the hem of His garment.  All of this within a space of 24 hours!  Waow!  And we think we have a busy schedule at times!

Take heart and allow your daily burdens to make you more like Jesus, learn from Him, become God focused.   Jesus turned to God as His source of power. Jesus has promised to make your burden light.  Give it all to Him and He will carry you through every circumstance.

.“Take My yoke upon you and LEARN FROM ME, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and YOU WILL FIND REST FOR YOUR SOULS. “For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.”  Matthew 11:29,30

Day 21 – God Will Do a New Thing

God will make a wayISAIAH 43:18,19 – Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past.  See, I am doing a new thing!  Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the desert and streams in the wasteland. 

God has fresh spring water for you to drink which will sustain you, heal you and strengthen you.  It is time (if you choose) to begin to reclaim what the enemy has stolen from you, your family and your marriage.  Please be encouraged that God has promised you will be paid back all that has been taken and even double blessings for your loss and your pain.

“Instead of your shame you will receive a double portion, and instead of disgrace you will rejoice in your inheritance. And so you will inherit a double portion in your land, and everlasting joy will be yours.” Isaiah 61:7

Day 20 – A Heavenly Benefits Package?

PSALM 103:2-5 – Praise the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits—who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases, who redeems your life from the pit and crowns you with love and compassion, who satisfies your desires with good things so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s.

I like to think of this Psalm as a heavenly benefits package!  There is no other health policy on earth that could ever match this one and it doesn’t even cost you any money!   What other benefits package can do the following:

Keep Your Eyes on Jesus
Keep Your Eyes on Jesus

1. Forgive you of your sin

2. Heal you of all your diseases

3. Redeem your life from destruction

4. Crown you with loving kindness and tender mercies

5. Satisfy your mouth with good things so that your youth is renewed like the eagle

This verse supplies everything that we need in life.  If we were offered a package like this from some insurance salesman, we would give everything we had to have it.  The good thing is it doesn’t cost us anything, however, it cost Jesus everything, He has paid it all!
