Do you fully understand what your church is up against? The war with an unseen force that manifests itself through evil, or are you too comfortable to be concerned? No other section of humanity has had to constantly endure the onslaught, persecution and martyrdom like the Church of Jesus Christ.

From the stoning of Stephen, the first martyr, right the way through to the tens of thousands and countless millions who followed, the Church has still managed to flourish. Satan has used torture and brutality against the church on a scale that we cannot imagine and still the gates of hell could not prevail.

From the Babylonians to the Persians; from the Roman empire to the holy Roman empire; from Communism; to Fascism; to the freedom of Democracy – none of it could halt the advancing body of Christ.

So has the porn industry finally managed to do what mighty conquering empires have failed to do? Has pornography finally been developed into Satan’s perfect war-machine to crush God’s Church? After all, 2000 years of persecution and martyrdom has only strengthened the church. Persecution makes people sit up and pay attention to what’s happening. Martyrdom draws men and women to fight and die for their cause.

Even if the world has stopped listening to the church they still watch what we get up to, so if they don’t see the men rise up and become the salt and light that they’re called to be, but living as hypocrites with double standards – doing as they please (usually in secret) – this has the opposite effect and turns people away from Christ
