As the holiday season rapidly approaches, many of us will start to switch off from our normal hectic lifestyles and focus on the holiday that we’ve saved and worked hard for all year.

This year we were fortunate enough to get away to the beautiful country of Croatia and it was there that the Lord showed me that the more we chill-out and the more relaxed we become, the enemy is more determined to take us out.  He will know better than you how far you have dropped your guard by what you look at and linger over. How devoted you are to reading your bible and spending time with Jesus in prayer.  Most of us get a break away somewhere between 7-14 days and this is ample time for him to break your spirit and your relationship with Jesus forfeiting your place in eternity.

Your enemy is patient, so don’t hand him the golden opportunity he has being waiting for all year.  Be vigilant, be alert, be sober and stay spiritually awake for he prowls around like a lion seeking only those whom he may devour.

The beaches, bars, clubs and resorts will be filled will half naked women compromising their self-respect, dignity, morality and purity for your attention. So don’t be letting your guard down this year. Question every ungodly thought that comes into your mind, every ungodly motive and every ungodly suggestion  Every demonic attack is the perfect opportunity for you to invite the Lord in and to strengthen your weak position.
