Day 15 – Don’t allow anger to control your tongue!

tongue of fire“The anger of man does not bring the righteousness of God into fulfilment,” James 1:20.

When experiencing hurt or pain, anger will begin to swell up inside a person’s heart.  Especially after being treated unfairly, for example, if your husband has been viewing pornography or involved in some other kind of sexual sin.  Anger can begin to swell up inside us and starts to move the tongue, forming words on the inside which are then spoken out. When the Bible says “be slow to speak” it is first talking about those words which come from angry thoughts and are then spoken out.

DAY 14 – What Does it Mean to Come Under Submission? .

EPHESIANS 5:23 – For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and He is the Saviour of the body

submissionMatthew Henry, a great Bible Commentator, wrote: “The woman was made out of Adam’s side. She was not made out of his head to rule over him, nor out of his feet to be trampled upon by him, but out of his side to be equal with him, under his arm to be protected, and near his heart to be loved”

Submission should be a natural response to a loving husband, a continual attitude. When a husband loves his wife as Christ loves the church (Ephesians 5:25-33), then submission will be easy from a wife to her husband.

Unfortunately, not all men make it easy for a wife to submit. Some are selfish and do not love their wives as Christ loves the Church.  God does not intend marriage to be a one-sided submission of a believing wife to a selfish, domineering husband …. to read more click here

Global Domination                                                                                      

The church has endured some of the greatest atrocities ever carried out against humanity but had the resilience to bounce back and multiply to the shear frustration of its enemy. Today the church isn’t bouncing back. It’s men are tired and distracted, worn out and exhausted, deflated and feeling defeated. Breakfast mornings, men’s programs and weekends away, aren’t hitting the mark as they should be. The longest enduring battle, is finally grinding to an end and this generation is feeling the pressure from it all.

Pornography has almost achieved global dominance and is certainly a force to be reckoned with. Spreading to the ends of the earth like a toxic virus it has now become a spiritual super power to rival the church for the souls of men. With a strong, loyal and dedicated following within the church, pornography seems to have finally achieved what it set out to do and that is to subdue, conquer and tame a man on fire for God. The church can’t afford to play catch up. Time is rapidly running out for the church to make its voice heard, Church leadership needs to be speaking out and offering help and support instead of pretending that it’s not happening in their church.
