Weapons of Mass or Moral Destruction?
The nuclear arms race was on, Russia and the US were working hard to create the ultimate Weapons of Mass Destruction and it had gripped the world with fear. While all this distraction was taking place through the deception of the Cold War, it handed Satan the opportunity to develop his own Weapons of Moral Destruction, unhindered and unchallenged, under everyone’s nose.
The Kinsey report of the 40’s & 50’s provided the spark that ignited the sexual revolution of the 60’s which raised up pornography’s most famous son, Hugh Hefner. Hefner, along with Flynt, Guccione, Goldstein were porn’s early pioneers. They were the research and development team behind Satan’s perfect war machine.They were to pornography what Oppenheimer was to the nuclear bomb.
They had the DNA of pornography, the building blocks were available, now it was their job to re-brand it, repackage it, remodel it, reshape it, make it a little less offensive, a little more acceptable, while at the same time making it more perverse and also guaranteeing that every generation along the way becomes more debased and desensitised than the one before it. So could they pull it off?
The early atom bomb hadn”t the same power or capability to cause the amount of devastation as today’s bomb, just as the Playboy magazine of the 60’s would seem very mild compared to today’s Hardcore pornography, but it laid the foundation of what was to follow. The R&D team had achieved what they set out to do. They had managed to turn a seedy and dirty back street business into an acceptable and respectable multi-billion dollar industry that has been welcomed into almost every home in the world. Porn stars are now big celebrities, household names with their own fan base conferences and awards ceremonies.
First stage of Mission Impossible was accomplished, now the commission has been handed over to the next generation and they have managed to turn up the heat and push the boundaries further than anyone could ever have thought possible with the most horrifying results. Satan’s war machine almost seems unstoppable.
Gen 3x nothing happens by itself
forgive those who have hurt us and also accept God’s forgiveness for ourselves. God loves you perfectly, but no-one can force you to accept this love, you have to receive it yourself. God’s love will carry you through and you will have the victory when everything, even all hell, seems to be against you. Allow God’s love to carry you through every storm, whether that be in your marriage, or something else, and to give you peace. God loves you through every trial and every mistake. Don’t allow the devil to convince you that you’re not good enough or not righteous enough. God loved you yesterday, He loves you today and will love you tomorrow and forever. It doesn’t matter what you’ve done or even what’s been done to you – what’s in the past stays in the past. You can have abundant life, but you have to receive it, God has a great future planned for you.
How can you love a husband who has hurt you? Instead of allowing the devil to drag up the past and weigh you down with anger, bitterness, hatred, seeking vengeance and so much more, begin to pray and intercede for your husband. Ask God to bless him and show mercy to him. Love is a choice, the Bible tells us “Put on Love” Colossians 3:14. The Holy Spirit will help you by pouring out a measure of God’s grace. It is in obedience to God that we are to love our husbands.
