Protect Your Home

For many of us, protecting our homes against intruders is a major concern. We can go to great lengths and much expense to protect our family and material possessions from harm, and rightly so.  Your home will probably be the biggest single investment that you will ever make.

But what about the spiritual side of things?  How concerned are you about that? As the head and covering of your wife and kids, do you really care about what you may be exposing them to as you slip down the stairs, sit up late into the night or sneak off into the shed to indulge in perversion?

Do you give a second thought to the evil you are entertaining as you indulge in pornography?  An evil which constantly seeks entry into Christian homes to bring about death and destruction.  Always remember there is no such thing as a sneaky look.  Any home that is used for unholy purposes will naturally attract spiritual forces that are unholy as well.

Doesn’t it bother you that you are responsible for bringing spiritual filth into your home.  Your family deserves better!

Zombie in the Church

You no longer have to wait until Halloween to see the zombies hordes appearing. They are everywhere from films to books to kids cartoons to zombie walks they are all the craze. You will even find them in your church, some are more easy to reconsign than others.

They are the people who attend church every week but leave unmoved by the things of God, find the truth boring because rigor mortis has set in.

What is a Spiritual Zombie, well they are people who are only interested in one thing. They are singled minded consumers with an animalistic drive who only serve themselves by seeking human flesh, the more depraved the better.

Zombies aren’t mentioned in the bible but the concept is clear in Eph 2 1-5. Is your church ready for the zombie hordes? Are you tackling the issue of pornography? the virus that leaves your men spiritually dead, all flesh and no spirit no joy no peace no sympathy no compassion no Jesus.

       Do not despair for there is great hope, there is an antidote to the zombie virus and                      it is found in the Saviour Jesus Christ.

Why are we here

 

 

 

Why we are here is simple. If your past experiences have been anything like mine in the pursuit of freedom from pornography, you may have sometimes felt like giving up on church. You build yourself up, expecting the magic prayer formula at the end to live up to it’s reputation, only to find that you’re back to square one, feeling more defeated and deflated than everbefore. Somany good men and well-meaning preachers have bombarded you with scripture and theology, but because of your stubbornness the seed has fallen on hard soil.

The truth is, the only freedom is the relationship that you build up with Jesus.

The aim of Gen3x is to attend your men’s church group and present the facts of what we believe the bible teaches about pornography. Our blog arena inputs the truth little but often, and I pray as you read each blog your dead spirit gets awakened and a revelation of where you are headed and more importantly who you are worshipping is revealed.   If you are interested in gen3x attending your next meeting, please contact me at girvan@gen3x.org.

Prayer life or Hard life?

” No man is greater than his prayer life” that was the cry of a godly man named Leonard Ravenhill.  And he was correct, your prayer life is the true reflection of where you stand with God and where the source of your power comes from to fight the enemy.

There are billions of prayers being offered up before the throne every day, but the ones that move the heart of God into action are desperate prayers. God cannot turn His ear away from a soul that is utterly depended upon his refuge, God cannot not hand over a soul to the enemy when it takes sanctuary in His Almighty name.

Lord, I am haunted with such a temptation, dogged with such a lust, either thou must pardon it or I am damned; mortify it or I shall be a slave to it. Take me in the bosom of thy Love for Christ’s sake. Castle me in the arms of thy everlasting strength, it is in thy power to save me from, or give me up into the hands of my enemy. I have no confidence in myself or any other; into thy hands I commit my life and rely on thee.

One faithful prayer of repentance can act like the rudder on a mighty ship, changing the direction of its course for the better.This prayer was written by William Gurnall author of The Christian in Complete Armour. There is still the same strength and power in this prayer today as when it was first prayed in desperation back in 1644.
